Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 200g finely chopped mushrooms
  • 150g fresh spinach
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 100g grated cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or blend)
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté onions and garlic in a skillet over medium heat until translucent.
  3. Add mushrooms and cook until softened.
  4. Stir in spinach and season with salt and pepper; cook until wilted.
  5. Remove from heat; mix in grated cheese and cream cheese until combined.
  6. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 24 squares.
  7. Place about a teaspoon of filling on each square; fold and seal.
  8. Brush with egg wash for a golden finish.
  9. Arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  10. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
