  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 2 tablespoons coarse sugar (for sprinkling)
  • Mini chocolate chips or black decorating gel (for eyes)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine blueberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Stir until thickened (about 5 minutes). Allow to cool.
