Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup jelly or jam (your favorite flavor)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Stir in peanut butter, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix this dry mixture into the wet ingredients without overmixing.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Dollop jelly over the batter and swirl gently with a knife. Pour remaining batter on top and repeat the jelly dolloping and swirling.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
